After we’d had such a lovely time at Winter Wonderland in Manchester last year, we were absolutely delighted to be invited back again for a second visit this Christmas. Being located close to such a major site, directions and access is a doddle – the capacity of the road can cope with the traffic without any issues and we were able to pull into the ample car park and find a space without any delays. Event City is a modern, clean and purpose built exhibition centre, and Winter Wonderland is located inside a very large hall, so although there are lots and lots of people, it doesn’t feel hemmed in at all...
Whats Good To Do
We sent the Summerscales-Lees family to check out the UK's biggest indoor Christmas theme park at Event City next to the Trafford Centre with their girls aged 10 and 12. Once you've paid to get in that's it - you can let the family loose on the rides! Mum was a little worried that their Tweenager might be a bit too old, but that was not the case at all....
What to do with the kids.co.uk
I appreciate it’s a bit after the occasion now, but I wanted to drop a line to give you my feedback from my visit on Christmas Eve 2016. It was fantastic! Younger girls (aged 9) loved it and older teens enjoyed it also. If you’re parents, you will appreciate that four happy kids = happy parents!
The show was well organised, there were not massive queues for entry and for the rides, which I expected. The space was adequately filled, without feeling cramped and crowded. The age range of rides was a good mix, and there were a wide variety of other attractions too.
A job well done, well done Winter Wonderland and we’ll see you again later this year!
We wish Emily a very Happy Christmas!
We've just left after a super day, can I just take this opportunity to say, you're customer service is amazing! I came today with my husband and 2 boys who both have autism, my youngest son freaked out at the entrance as it was too noisy and crowded, he refused to go in and we thought we'd have to take him home. One of your members of staff who was greeting near ticket sales, took us through the quiet back entrance and once in, he gave us some ear plugs for my son and a fast pass wristband for my youngest!
Although my youngest (7 years) didn't go on any rides, thanks to that member of staff we all had an amazing day. I just wish I'd got the mans name, he even came to find us during our time there to see if we were ok! Thank you so very much!
Last night we headed to Manchester for the press night of Winter Wonderland, which is a fantastic indoor festive theme park. Winter Wonderland is now in its 3rd year, and we have visited every year since it opened in 2013. As well as plenty of indoor fairground rides there is The Sooty Show, Magic Show, Circus, Father Christmas with real reindeers and a stage where we saw Ariel.
The Williams World
We had a wonderful time at Winter Wonderland last year and could not wait to return to the event this year. We wondered if it would be as much fun visiting a second year in a row and I can honestly say it was even more fun. Here's our Winter Wonderland Manchester Review.
Winter Wonderland at Event City in Manchester caught my attention recently on Facebook and I was delighted to be asked to attend the press evening. I went along with a good friend of mine and her daughter and my own daughter. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by a member of staff who pointed in the right direction of the sign in stalls. Signing in was well thought out and each stall had a different section of the alphabet so this meant less queues!
What's Good To Do
Winter wonderland has once again arrived in Manchester and last night we went to the press event to check it all out. The event opens to the public today. Tickets ... can be booked on the Winter wonderland website in 4 hour slots. There's lots to do there including many rides for all ages, various shows including Sooty, Rapunzel and a few other famous characters. There is even a circus and magic shows and a chance to learn some circus tricks too.
Injured City stars Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta took advantage of their time on the sidelines by paying a visit to a fun fair. Blues superstar Aguero and his fellow countryman was one of the numerous celebrity guests at the star-studded opening of a new attraction near the Trafford Centre tonight.
